Operations Manager

The operations manager will be reporting to the Sales Director to ensure smooth running and delivery of projects, meeting customer’s needs and that every day runs smoothly from a customer service perspective. The operations manager is also responsible for ensuring that all projects are well planned and executed to avoid unacceptable losses. 

  • Managing stock control and inventory checks. 
  • Create Work Orders/ Job Sheets for engineers 
  • Put quotes together for repeat/ new customers 
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed by engineers on site. • Creating and monitoring projects and teams. 
  • Putting RAMS together for projects 
  • Reviewing workloads and manpower to ensure project targets are met on time  and within the budget. 
  • Stepping in on the project if its running behind 
  • Carry out site assessments and planning for projects, checking that all  materials planned for the job are compatible and of the right specification. • Manage and if required, train the team of engineers 
  • Supporting the management team’s vision and process ideals. • Ensuring staff working on processes are happy and operating efficiently. • Supporting all functions of the business to work together. 
  • Assist with customer technical queries. 

Qualifications: 

  • PPO level 3
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent 
  • City & Guilds NVQ Diploma in either electrical, plumbing, heat and vent or  mechanical engineering. 
  • ISPE Technician 
  • Full clean driving license

Pool Plant Technician

Pool Plant Technician is to report to the Managing Director, Sean Brydges: 

  • Servicing & Maintenance of swimming pools and other wet facilities 
  • Pool testing and chemical balancing 
  • Servicing chemical dosing, UV systems, filtration, circulation and pool heating systems - Installation and connecting of pipes and fittings to the plant and pool systems - Installation of plant room equipment  
  • Propose improvement on systems and advisories of remedial works 
  • Daily reporting on jobs completed 
  • Complying with the company stock inventory system 
  • Assisting with customer queries 
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of projects 
  • Ensuring that work is conducted to minimise losses for the company 

Qualifications: 

  • PPO LEVEL 3 
  • City and Guild Level 2 electrical,  
  • plumbing or mechanical NVQ Diploma or 
  • ISPE Technician 
  • Clean Drivers License  
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the pool industry up to 28k experience dependant. Van can be made
