A Pool Plant Operator (PPO) qualification is essential to ensure compliance with PWTAG codes of practice and HSE’s "Managing Health and Safety in Swimming Pools" guidelines.

During the course, you will learn:

Assessment:

The Pool Plant Operator Course is assessed using two methods:

  1. A written multiple-choice test.
  2. Completion of a work-based assignment submitted to the relevant industry body within three weeks.

Training Format:

We offer flexible delivery formats to suit a variety of learning preferences and operational requirements:

1. On-Site/In-Person Training

  • Delivery through a mixture of classroom teaching and plant room practical sessions.
  • Requires access to your facility for site-specific training.
  • Duration: 3 days.

Blended Learning.

Combines online learning modules with an in-person practical training session on the final day.

Both formats ensure you grasp essential skills and apply them effectively within your role.

Qualifications Gained

Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a Pool Plant Operator Certificate, adding a recognised qualification to your credentials. You will also be listed in the PWTAG register of certified operators, providing proof of your expertise for employers and clients.
