Filter Maintenance

Poor filter maintenance can lead to cloudy water, ineffective chemical control, corrosion of the pool tank, finishes and plant equipment, poor circulation, ineffective heating of the pool and disease outbreaks.

The Industry Codes of Practice state the frequencies for routine filter maintenance tasks, such as backwashing, internal inspections of filtration media, inspections of under drain systems, media changes and operational systems testing for automatic air release, actuators, and air scour systems. Whilst some of these tasks should be routinely carried out by onsite pool plant operators, many require specialist attention.

The difference with Pool Plant Experts is that we will not only carry out any of the routine maintenance tasks you require, we will also teach you how to conduct the routine tasks you can do in-house and show you how to analyse your own pool and trouble-shoot recurring problems you face, helping you manage your pool safely, as well as helping you control expenditure.
